Christina Leutner, BEd, is an author, content creator, passionate travel blogger, and the founder of CitySeaCountry.
At CitySeaCountry, you’ll find travel tips for destinations around the world.
The main focus is on city trips in Europe and worldwide, road trips in Europe and worldwide, active travel, luxury travel, and sustainable destinations.
Preferred accommodations are in the higher-end category, including luxury hotels, boutique hotels, glamping, and lodges.
Christina is also co-author of the travel guide Special Tyrol / 1000 Places to See Before You Die (Vistapoint Verlag).
She has also published Soul-Led: How to Follow Your Inner Compass to an Incredibly Fulfilling and Happy Life in English. This non-fiction book is a heartfelt project that has now become a reality.

Why travel?
By nature, I am a very creative, idea-driven, and curious person.
I have been fascinated by travel for a long time. When I was 14, I flew alone to California for the first time to visit my relatives.
Ten years later, I spent 10 months teaching as a private tutor on a luxury catamaran — a 18-meter-long, 8-meter-wide yacht — for two American women.
The journey began in Croatia and continued across the Mediterranean, with stops in Sicily and at Mount Etna, an unplanned visit to Sardinia (let’s just say: storm!), Mallorca, Gibraltar, and Gran Canaria.
After that, we sailed across the Atlantic as part of a race, spending 15 days surrounded only by the sea and, at night, by millions of stars overhead, before arriving in Saint Lucia in the Caribbean just in time for Advent.
We then spent the following months on several Caribbean islands, in Puerto Rico, the British Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, and later in Florida.
Since that experience, my strong longing for home has transformed into a longing for travel.
I left my work as a headteacher and teacher and made my dream of writing about travel and creating content come true.
Now I travel the world as much as possible, which my work as a professional content creator and entrepreneur makes increasingly possible.
I often travel solo, but I prefer traveling with my life partner or my adult niece.

During trips, I share experiences on my social media channels whenever Wi-Fi is available and suitable for the platform. Depending on the length of the trip, I then publish one to three blog posts on CitySeaCountry.
