mir sofort der dichte Regenwald, das Rauschen des Materuni-Wasserfalls und der Gesang der Einheimischen beim Kaffeer\u00f6sten ein. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">F\u00fcr uns war dieser Tag am Fu\u00df des h\u00f6chsten Berges Afrikas einer der pers\u00f6nlichsten und kulturell eindr\u00fccklichsten Momente unserer ganzen Tansania-Reise, weil hier nicht nur die Tiere, sondern die Natur und die Menschen im Mittelpunkt standen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wir haben einen halben Tag mit einer Wanderung zum Materuni-Wasserfall und anschlie\u00dfendem Kaffeer\u00f6sten verbracht, bevor wir weiter zur Kiboko Lodge in Arusha gefahren sind. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dort haben wir den Abend verbracht, bevor am n\u00e4chsten style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wir sind am Kilimanjaro Airport gelandet und haben unsere erste Nacht in Tansania in der Chanya Lodge in Moshi verbracht. Direkt am n\u00e4chsten Tag stand die Wanderung zum Materuni-Wasserfall mit anschlie\u00dfendem Kaffeer\u00f6sten auf dem Programm, was uns einen halben Tag in Anspruch genommen hat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anschlie\u00dfend sind wir weiter zur Kiboko Lodge in Arusha gefahren, wo wir den Abend verbracht haben, bevor am n\u00e4chsten Morgen unsere erste Safari in Tansania im Arusha Nationalpark begann.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">F\u00fcr mich war das der perfekte sanfte Einstieg in die Reise. Statt gleich ins Safarifahrzeug zu steigen, haben wir uns zu Fu\u00df und in Ruhe der Region angen\u00e4hert, und genau das hat den Tag so besonders gemacht.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span selbst aus Materuni stammt, hat uns die gesamte Wanderung begleitet. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vom Parkplatz bis zum Wasserfall haben wir etwa eine Stunde gebraucht, allerdings mit vielen Fotostopps, weil William uns immer wieder etwas \u00fcber die Pflanzen, Tiere und den Regenwald erz\u00e4hlt hat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Weg hinunter zum Wasserfall f\u00fchrte \u00fcber Schotter und sandige Pfade, war aber einfach und angenehm zu gehen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Erst auf dem R\u00fcckweg ging es durch Bananenplantagen gewandert, und immer wieder haben wir versucht, einen Blick auf den Gipfel des Kilimandscharo zu erhaschen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leider hat er sich bei uns hinter Wolken versteckt, aber allein das Wissen, direkt am Fu\u00df des h\u00f6chsten Berges Afrikas zu wandern, hatte etwas ganz Besonderes f\u00fcr mich.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kleine Entdeckungen am Wegesrand haben den Spaziergang zus\u00e4tzlich bereichert: eine blaue Schnecke und mehrere bunte Schmetterlinge haben uns immer wieder zum vor allem in Kombination mit der \u00fcppigen Vegetation rund herum.
