    The Quinta da Aveleda winery is one of Porto’s hidden gems for me and is best reached by car.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    A fairy-tale-like park belongs to the winery and is the highlight of the visit. Peacocks live here, roaming freely on the grounds, and there are also goats living in a wooden tower.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Beautiful houses reminiscent of witch and fairy houses are also located in the park. In addition to various plants and flowers, palms and sequoia trees (originally from California) grow here.<\/span><\/p>\n

    You can also take a guided tour and wine tasting at the winery.<\/span><\/p>\n
