The Leutasch Gorge is located between Mittenwald and the Seefeld region, straddling the border between Bavaria, Germany, and Tyrol, Austria.<\/span><\/p>\n There are three circular hiking trails in total: the Gorge Spirit Trail, the Goblin Path, and the Waterfall Trail.<\/span><\/p>\n All three trails can be combined.<\/span><\/p>\n If you want to tackle all three, plan for about 2 hours of walking time.<\/span><\/p>\n One circular trail, the Gorge Spirit Trail (Leutascher Geisterklamm or Klammgeistweg), is in Austria, and two trails, the Goblin Path (Koboldpfad) and the Waterfall Trail (Wasserfallpfad), are in German territory in Mittenwald.<\/span><\/p>\n Hiking through the Leutaschklamm is free of charge.<\/span><\/p>\n If you plan to hike the Waterfall Trail, which is 0.12 miles (200 meters) long and runs along a wooden footbridge just a few meters above the water, it costs \u20ac3.<\/span><\/p>\n This narrow gorge leads to a spectacular 75-foot (23-meter-high) waterfall.<\/span><\/p>\n The gorge is open from May to October, although the Waterfall Trail closes at 6 PM.<\/span><\/p>\n Tip: Check online in advance to see if all trails are open.
