Die Stadt in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg an der Grenze zu Bayern ist das Zentrum der <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityseacountry.com\/route-der-genuesse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Route der Gen\u00fcsse<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> und Teil der romantischen Stra\u00dfe, eine der sch\u00f6nsten Deutschland Roadtrip Routen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wertheim ist auch bekannt f\u00fcr das Wertheim Village. Es finden hier immer wieder Veranstaltungen statt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Burg kann besichtigt werden und es gibt hier auch eine Burggastst\u00e4tte.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Spitzer_Turm\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. Jahrhundert gebaut und befindet sich neben dem Ufer der Tauber. Er ist 36,5 m hoch und k\u00f6nnte als schiefer Turm von Wertheim bezeichnet werden, auch wenn er nicht so sehr zur Seite geneigt ist wie der schiefe Turm von Pisa.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Der Spitze Turm ist deshalb schief, weil er auf Schwemmland gebaut wurde, d. h. darunter ist kein Stein oder sonstiger fester Untergrund. Und deshalb hat sich der Turm im Laufe der Jahrhunderte geneigt. Man hat fr\u00fcher schon entgegengesteuert indem man die obere Bebauung des Turms Richtung Dach versetzt hat, vor einigen Jahren wurden schwere Metallpfosten in eine irrsinnige Tiefe eingerammt, bis man schlie\u00dflich auf Fels gesto\u00dfen ist.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Christiane F\u00f6rster, Tourismus Wertheim<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Spitze Turm wurde urspr\u00fcnglich als Wach- und Wartturm errichtet un diente auch eine Weile als Gef\u00e4ngnis f\u00fcr Trunkenbolde und z\u00e4nkische Weiber.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der fr\u00fchere Eingang befand sich in 10 m H\u00f6he und war nur \u00fcber eine Leiter erreichbar. Im Inneren ist das sogenannte Angstloch noch immer zu sehen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Spitze Turm kann im Rahmen einer Besichtigung besucht werden.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Marktplatz\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4. Hier befinden sich einige der sch\u00f6nsten Fachwerkh\u00e4user, darunter auch das schmalste Haus Frankens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bei sch\u00f6nem Wetter laden die Caf\u00e9s und Restaurants ein im Freien zu verweilen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tipp: Einen Wein in der Weinstube grapes trinken und vom 1. Stockwerk aus einen sch\u00f6nen Blick auf den Marktplatz und die dar\u00fcber liegende Burg Wertheim genie\u00dfen.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Stiftskirche\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5. Stiftskirche<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Stiftskirche wurde 1383 in eine gotische Basilika umgebaut. Eine Besonderheit der Stiftskirche ist die Uhr. Auf der einen Seite wird nur die Stunde angezeigt, auf der anderen Seite wird die Minute angezeigt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In der Stiftskirche befinden sich auch die Grabm\u00e4ler der Wertheimer Grafen aus dem 15.-18. Diese gilt als eine der sch\u00f6nsten gotischen Doppelkapellen in Deutschland. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Baubeginn f\u00fcr die sp\u00e4tgotische Kapelle war Ende des 15. Jahrhunderts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eine Besonderheit ist der Wertheimer Affe, welcher als Symbol der Eitelkeit gilt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seit dem Beginn des 17. Der gro\u00dfe, blaue Optimist mit dem \u201cDaumen hoch\u201d steht farblich passend vor dem Blauen Haus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das Blaue Haus ist ein Fachwerkhaus, dessen Balken in dem damals teuren Farbton gestrichen wurde, um den Reichtum der Bewohner nach au\u00dfen hin sichtbar darzustellen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beide Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten sind ein optischer Hingucker.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"13_Kloster_Bronnach\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13. Kloster Bronnach<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die historische Klosteranlage Bronnach z\u00e4hlt zu den \u00e4ltesten und besterhaltendsten Klosteranlagen im S\u00fcden von Deutschland. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Zisterzienserabtei wurde 1153 gegr\u00fcndet und liegt im Taubertal, unweit von Wertheim entfernt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Im Kloster Bronnach ist das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Au\u00dfenfresko der Alpen zu sehen.
