Arco de Santa Mar\u00eda<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Arco de Santa Maria ist das erste Bauwerk, welches einem beim Gang in die Altstadt erwartet. Erbaut im 14. Jahrhundert, wurde das Tor jedoch im 16. Jahrhundert umgestaltet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14531\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cityseacountry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/fullsizeoutput_21f4-1016x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"Blick auf das helle Tor in Burgos welches den Eingang zur Altstadt markiert\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1210\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wichtigstes Detail dabei ist die Namensgeberin, die Heilige Maria. Sie thront an der Spitze des Bogens und \u00fcberwacht den Eingang in die Stadt. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der beinah wei\u00dfe Torbogen sieht aus wie der Eingang zu einer Burg. Beim Eintritt durch das Tor \u00f6ffnet sich der Blick auf einen gro\u00dfen, gepflasterten Platz und die Kathedrale von Burgos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Insgesamt gibt es rund um Burgos 12 mittelalterliche Tore. Der Arco de Santa Mar\u00eda ist dabei der sch\u00f6nste Torbogen.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Kathedrale_von_Burgos\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. Jahrhundert und ist eine wichtige Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeit entlang des Pilgerweges Camino de Santiagos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Catedral de Santa Mar\u00eda de Burgos z\u00e4hlt verdient zum <\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"https:\/\/whc.unesco.org\/en\/list\/316\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UNESCO Weltkulturerbe<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Im Inneren der Kathedrale ist vor allem das bunte Glasfenster, sowie die diversen Kapellen, sehenswert. Einige der Kapellen sind prunkvoll mit Gold verziert. Paseo del Espol\u00f3<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vom Arco de Santa Maria aus f\u00fchrt der Paseo del Espolo entlang. Diese mit Plantanen flankierte Stra\u00dfe f\u00fchrt vorbei an zahlreichen Caf\u00e9s, als auch einem Park, welcher sich direkt neben dem Fluss <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">R\u00edo Arlanz\u00f3n befindet<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Im Park Paseo del Espol\u00f3n\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">gibt es auch einen reich verzierten Pavillon, der Templete de M\u00fasica. Casa del Cord\u00f3n<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das im 15. Jahrhundert erbaute <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Casa del Cord\u00f3n befindet sich beim Plaza Libertad. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das Haus dienten Christoph Kolumbus und den K\u00f6nigen als Treffpunkt, als er von seiner zweiten Schiffsreise nach Amerika zur\u00fcck kam. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alle Habsburger wohnten hier f\u00fcr eine gewisse Zeit.
