In der Provinz Qu\u00e9bec tummeln sich Belugawale, Minkwale, Blauwale, Buckelwale und Pottwale an diesem besonderen Platz.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Tadoussac ist dabei der beste Ort, um in Kanada Wale beobachten zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Im folgenden Artikel findest du meinen Erfahrungsbericht f\u00fcr die Walbeobachtung in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityseacountry.com\/category\/kanada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kanada<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in der Provinz Qu\u00e9bec. Direkt nach Tadoussac zu fahren w\u00e4re an diesem Abend zu weit gewesen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Am n\u00e4chsten Morgen bin ich von Drummondville aus noch ca. 5 Stunden bis nach Tadoussac gefahren. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kurz vor Tadoussac geht es via F\u00e4hre von Baie-Sainte-Catherine bis nach Tadoussac.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die F\u00e4hre verbindet die Stra\u00dfe 138, welche von Tadoussac aus weiter n\u00f6rdlich f\u00fchrt. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dabei verkehren die Schiffe 24 Stunden t\u00e4glich und die Fahrt mit der F\u00e4hre ist gratis. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Aussicht von der F\u00e4hre in Richtung Tadoussac und dem Fjord von Saguenay ist beeindruckend und manchmal kann man von der F\u00e4hre aus sogar schon Belugawale sehen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Ich bin gegen Mittag mit der F\u00e4hre nach Tadoussac \u00fcbergesetzt und da befinden sich die Wale weiter drau\u00dfen bei den Futterpl\u00e4tzen.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Tipp: Wenn du nicht selber mit dem Auto nach Tadoussac fahren m\u00f6chtest gibt es eine sehr gute Alternative. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Du erf\u00e4hrst mehr dar\u00fcber weiter unten im Artikel. Auch ohne Mietwagen kannst du die Tour nach Tadoussac zu den Walen unternehmen.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14411\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cityseacountry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/fullsizeoutput_21aa-1024x683.jpeg\" alt=\"Kanada: Walbeobachtung in Qu\u00e9bec\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #999999;\">F\u00e4hre zwischen Baie-Sainte-Catherine und Tadoussac<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So besonders ist Tadoussac aufgrund der Tatsache, dass es nicht am Meer liegt, sondern an der M\u00fcndung des Saguenayflusses und des St.-Lorenz-Stroms. 800 Kilometer weiter nord\u00f6stlich beginnt erst der Nordatlantik. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dieser str\u00f6mt Richtung Sankt-Lorenz-Strom und bringt Salzwasser bis nach Tadoussac. Selbst im Fjord von Saguenay (Fjord-du-Saguenay) ist noch ein wenig Salz enthalten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au\u00dferdem gibt es in dieser Gegend aufgrund von Unterwassererhebungen und -schluchten eine besondere Str\u00f6mung, welche Krill hierher treibt. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die perfekte Gegend f\u00fcr Wale, um sich satt zu fressen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sogar die gr\u00f6\u00dften Wale der Welt, die Blauwale, kommen hierher zum Fressen. Die erwachsenen Belugawale sind wei\u00df, die Babies hingegen grau-br\u00e4unlich.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Da die Belugas im Gegensatz zu den Minkwalen in Gruppen schwimmen ist es einfacher sie zu entdecken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bei der Bootstour sahen wir auch einen Minkwal. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diese sind an der markanten R\u00fcckenflosse leicht zu erkennen. Sie sind so lange wie zwei Elefanten aneinandergereiht und leben als Einzelg\u00e4nger.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14417\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cityseacountry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/fullsizeoutput_21b8-1024x628.jpeg\" alt=\"Kanada: Walbeobachtung in Qu\u00e9bec mit Blick auf einen Minkwal und in der Ferne einem Frachtschiff\" width=\"1200\" height=\"736\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #999999;\">Minkwal<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Als wir den ersten Belugawal sahen ist der Frau hinter mir im Boot vor lauter Begeisterung das Handy ins Wasser gefallen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bevor es nach der 2 \u00bd st\u00fcndigen Fahrt zur\u00fcck nach Tadoussac geht fahren wir ein St\u00fcck hinein in den Fjord von Saguenay. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ich war bisher noch nie in einem Fjord und fand es landschaftlich sehr beeindruckend. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Wasserfall, der direkt in den Fjord flie\u00dft und die Robben, die sich auf den Steinen sonnen, sind neben den Walen das Highlight und die Top Attraktion hier.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Achtung: Die angebotene Schifffahrt f\u00fchrt nicht in den Fjord hinein, nur die Tour mit dem Zodiac!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14421\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cityseacountry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/fullsizeoutput_21bf-1024x626.jpeg\" alt=\"Ufer im Fjord rund um Tadoussac. Es gibt auch die M\u00f6glichkeit anstatt mit dem Zodiac mit einem gro\u00dfen Schiff mitzufahren. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ich w\u00fcrde das Zodiac empfehlen, da du damit viel n\u00e4her an die Wale herankommst und anschlie\u00dfend auch in den Fjord hineinf\u00e4hrst.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Was_bei_der_Walbeobachtung_zu_beachten_ist\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Was bei der Walbeobachtung zu beachten ist<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Auf dem Wasser und durch den Fahrtwind ist es sehr kalt (Ende Mai) und obwohl jeder Passagier eine Latzhose und Jacke bekommt (man wird ein bisschen nass) ist eine M\u00fctze, sowie warme Kleidung darunter definitv ein Muss.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Da in Tadoussac so viele Wale leben gibt das Unternehmen eine Walsichtungsgarantie. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Welche Wale gerade vor Ort sind kommt auf die Jahreszeit darauf an. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ich war Ende Mai unterwegs und zu dieser Zeit waren Belugawale und Minkwale vor Ort. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Belugawale haben vor kurzem Junge bekommen und somit gab es auch die\u00a0s\u00fc\u00dfen Walbabies zu sehen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Anmerkung: Die Walbeobachtungstour ist in Englisch und Franz\u00f6sisch. Sprich: Die Guides sprechen und erz\u00e4hlen in beiden Sprachen w\u00e4hrend der Tour.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Wale_fotografieren_und_filmen\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wale fotografieren und filmen<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Da du durch den Zodiac ziemlich nahe an die Wale herankommst funktioniert es auch, dass du mit dem Handy Fotos machen kannst. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Besser ist nat\u00fcrlich eine Kamera mit Zoom und perfekt w\u00e4re ein Teleobjektiv. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Auf jeden Fall solltest du eine wasserfeste Tasche dabei haben, in die du deine Kamera oder auch das Handy geben kannst. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es gibt bei sch\u00f6nem Wetter zwar keine gro\u00dfen Wellen, aber w\u00e4hrend der Fahrt passiert es doch \u00f6fter, dass das leicht salzige Wasser dich und die Ausr\u00fcstung anspritzt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Tipp: Teleobjektive gibt es auch als Aufsatz f\u00fcr Smartphones.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Besonders beliebt f\u00fcr Walbeobachtungen ist die Zeit von Ende Juni bis September. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hier gibt es dann die meisten Walarten zu beobachten. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Neben den Belugawalen und Minkwalen\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tummeln sich hier dann auch<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Buckelwale, Blauwale und vereinzelt <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">gibt es auch <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pottwale zu sehen, sowie ein paar kleinere Walarten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Am h\u00e4ufigsten sind jedoch die wei\u00dfen Belugawale hier anzutreffen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tipp: Wenn du nicht den ganzen Weg bis nach Tadoussac selber fahren m\u00f6chtest, dann gibt es auch Touren von Qu\u00e9bec City Ort ist klein und \u00fcberschaubar. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mir hat es hier sehr gut gefallen und ich w\u00fcrde das n\u00e4chste Mal mindestens zwei N\u00e4chte einplanen,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">um die wundersch\u00f6ne kanadische Natur genie\u00dfen zu k\u00f6nnen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es gibt hier class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Neben der Walbeobachtung ist es sehr interessant das Centre d\u2019Interpr\u00e9tation des Mammif\u00e8res Marins Tadoussac zu besuchen und mehr \u00fcber die Meeress\u00e4uger zu erfahren. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das Center hat von 12 Uhr bis 17 Uhr ge\u00f6ffnet und mit einem Besuch unterst\u00fctzt du zudem das Non-Profit-Unternehmen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das Marine Mammal Interpretation Center ist so gestaltet, dass du Sachen angreifen kannst und Forscher, welche hier zudem arbeiten, nehmen sich immer wieder Zeit, den Besuchern alles zu erkl\u00e4ren. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jeden Tag werden die aktuellen Forschungsergebnisse mit den Besuchern geteilt (= aktuelle Fotos von Walsichtungen, etc.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14393\" Platz in Tadoussac der Pointe de l\u2019Islet Trail. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Von hier aus habe ich am sp\u00e4ten Nachmittag vom Land aus Belugawale gesehen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diese schwimmen von den Futterpl\u00e4tzen aus wieder zur\u00fcck in den Fjord-du-Saguenay, wo sie sich am Abend und in der Nacht aufhalten. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pointe_de_lIslet_Trail\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pointe de l\u2019Islet Trail<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Pointe de l\u2019Islet ist ein kurzer Rundwanderweg entlang des Wassers und durch den Wald. Meine Highlights und auch die Empfehlungen von Einheimischen sind die folgenden:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Microbrasserie Tadoussac: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kleines, feines Craftbierlokal, welches vor drei Jahren er\u00f6ffnet wurde und auch Bierverkostung anbietet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Caf\u00e8 Boh\u00e8me:\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hier gibt es neben ausgew\u00e4hlten Fleisch- und Fischgerichten auch vegane Gerichte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14396\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cityseacountry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/fullsizeoutput_21a5-1024x683.jpeg\" alt=\"Blick auf das Geb\u00e4ude in welchem sich die Microbrewery von Tadoussac befindet.\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fazit: F\u00fcr mich war Tadoussac und die Walbeobachtung eines der absoluten Highlights meines Kanada Roadtrips durch Qu\u00e9bec und Ontario.
