The worlds <strong>first and only commercial Conch farm<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1220 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cityseacountry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/TurksCaicos-einzige-Conch-Farm-der-WElt-e1434463881171.jpg\" alt=\"Turks&amp;Caicos Conch Farm\" width=\"888\" height=\"666\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Growing Conchs at the Conch Farm<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Located at <strong>Provenciales, Caicos<\/strong> you can explore the life cycle of the <strong>Caribbean Queen Conch<\/strong> from the egg through hatching to growing up and harvesting as an adult.<\/p>\n<p>The tour at the Caicos Conch Farm takes 30 minutes and you can <strong>touch and see<\/strong> the conchs. The Conch is a major source of protein for the region for at least a thousand years and you can find it on menus in the <strong>Caribbean<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I tried Conch once at the Bahamas but to be true I like animals a lot more alive than being on a platter. The big shells are used for tools, weapons, jewelry and construction materials.<\/p>\n<p>A guide showed and told us anything about conchs and we could see baby conchs and taller ones at the area.
